Leytonstone Arts Trail is calling for artwork in response to the theme of Process and Preparation for an exhibition at the Stone Space from 4 to 28 February 2016.
The show hopes to provide insights into the working methods of local artists and provide a chance for visitors to get a tantalizing glimpse of the wealth of work that will be on show in the summer as part of the Leytonstone Arts Trail.
We are looking for work that shows the thought processes, risk-taking and creative environments of a whole range of artists. We welcome preparatory work from right across the spectrum such as artists’ proofs, studio photographs, texts, mockups, sketches, models, drafts, experiments and sketchbooks.
Artists are invited to submit images of up to three pieces for consideration to Mail@Leytonstoneartstrail.org
All media will be considered (please provide details of media, dimensions, and price if the work is for sale). Any size of work will be considered but please be aware that this is a group exhibition and take the size of the gallery into account. Details regarding the size of the gallery space are available here.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Monday 11 January 2016. There is no charge to submit work and all submissions received before the deadline will be acknowledged.
